BBC: World Challenge

Brief

Create a central hub system supporting the global competition 'The World Challenge' sponsered by the BBC and Newsweek, to encourage people to do activities in Third world countries.

Solution

We created an online system which could act as an interactive central hub where people would be able to make nominations and also view the posted videos of the finalists. The new site includes interactive maps to allow users to link to videos from different parts of the world by clicking on them. The site was also designed to encourage blogging and commenting by its users.

As well as the web design we also created traffic drivers; and email campaign to over 10,000 contacts; and hosted the site whilst it evolved over the year timescale.
